Respite Care
Respite care is a service provided on a short-term basis in the absence or to relieve those individuals who normally provide the care. This service is not to be used while caretakers are at work or school.
Participant Assistance & Care
Participant Assistance & Care (PAC) provides an individual support in the areas of self-care, mobility, and activities of daily living. This can include hands-on assistance, prompting, reminders, supervision and monitoring needed to ensure the health, safety and welfare of the participant. This service is only covered under the Family Supports Waiver.
Residential Habilitation
Residential Habilitation & Support (RHS) are individualized supports that are specified within the Person-Centered Individualized Support Plan (PCISP) that assist with the acquisition, retention, or improvement in skills related to living in the community. These supports include adaptive skill development, assistance with activities of daily living, community inclusion, transportation, adult educational supports, and social and leisure skill development that support the individual to live successfully in their own home.
Day Habilitation
Day Habilitation are services that are specified in the PISP and support learning and assistance in the areas of: self-care, sensory/motor development, socialization, daily living skills, communication, community living and social skills. Day habilitation activities are intended to build relationships and natural supports. These services are provided in community settings or in a facility owned or operated by an FSSA/DDRS-approved provider. Settings are on-residential and separate from an individual’s private residence or other residential living arrangements.

Heather Stevens
Waiver Services Manager
In 2018, Heather started as a RBT and worked in that role for 4.5 years before moving into the Waiver Services position. Her experience with LittleStar and passion for the services we provide makes her an excellent addition to the Waiver Services department. She is very excited to learn more about the Indiana Medicaid Waiver and helping families throughout Indiana receive the services they need through LittleStar. Heather loves being an aunt to her 5 sassy nieces and a wife to her husband Masen. She enjoys spending lots of time with family and friends, adventuring to new places, eating, and watching movies.
