Psych Services Events
Teen and Adult Social Hours
One-time themed events allow autistic teens to meet up to explore shared interests with equally avid peers in a safe and fun environment. Each meetup will include activities centered around a common topic such as Gaming, Transportation, Animals, Crafting, and more! Please note the participant’s interest(s) when registering!
Caregiver Events
Themed events allow parents and caregivers to form a community while engaging in fun, relaxing, and informative activities. Mom/female caregiver events and Dad/Male caregiver events allow caregivers to meet and form relationships with others who may have similar experiences.
Sibling Events (Sibshops)
LittleStar ABA Therapy is excited to offer Sibshops for children and young adults ages 6 – 14 years old who have a brother or sister with a developmental disability. Sibshops provide an opportunity for siblings to form a community and share experiences in a relaxed, recreational setting. Participants meet other sibs, have fun, laugh, talk about their experiences, play games and learn how to handle situations commonly experienced by siblings of individuals with special needs. The program mixes fast-paced recreational activities with information and discussion activities. We shine the spotlight on siblings, encouraging them to interact with and support their peers while learning ways to deal with any challenges they may face. Children do not have to have a sibling at LittleStar to attend.
The Infinity Market
The Infinity Market is a one of a kind market showcasing local autistic and neurodiverse creators in Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The market hosts up to 30 independent creators selling a variety of handmade items including paintings, clothing, comic books, keychains, knits, jewelry, greeting cards, housewares, and more!
The Infinity Market’s mission is to provide non-traditional employment opportunities to autistic and neurodiverse creators who may otherwise have difficulty maintaining traditional employment for a variety of reasons. Unlike other craft markets, autistic and neurodiverse creators do not pay a booth fee to sell at the market and keep 100% of their profits. The market is specially designed to account for sensory sensitivities and other necessary accommodations. The goal is to create an environment where creators feel empowered to thrive and launch or expand their small business to the community.
The inaugural market was held at West Fork Whiskey Event Center in Westfield, IN on November 21st, 2024. Stay tuned for more market dates!
